Ten Organizations Working Together to Ensure the Housing Needs of Ohio Are Met


Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO)

COHHIO is a coalition of organizations and individuals committed to ending homelessness and promoting affordable housing for all. They promote a range of services, including homeless prevention, permanent affordable housing, public policy advocacy, and research and public education.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC)

LISC is dedicated to fostering community development and improving the quality of life in communities. Its work focuses on addressing disparities and advancing equitable opportunities in various areas, such as housing, economic development, education, health, and safety.

Habitat for Humanity of Ohio

Habitat for Humanity of Ohio is dedicated to addressing the housing needs of low-income families across the state. By partnering with local Habitat affiliates, volunteers, and donors, the organization helps build, renovate, and repair homes to provide safe, affordable housing.

Ohio Housing Council (OHC)

The Ohio Chamber of Commerce is the state’s leading business advocate, representing companies of all sizes and industries to promote a strong and competitive business environment. The chamber works to influence public policy, support economic growth, and create opportunities for businesses across Ohio.

Ohio Land Bank Association (OLBA)

OLBA is a statewide organization that supports county land banks in their efforts to revitalize communities by addressing vacant, abandoned, and tax-delinquent properties. The association provides advocacy, education, and resources to help land banks repurpose these properties for productive use.

Enterprise Community Partners

Enterprise Community Partners is a national nonprofit that supports community development organizations. They invest billions to improve housing and strengthen communities across the U.S and advance housing policy at every level of government.

Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH)

OCCH is a nonprofit organization that promotes the development, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable housing in Ohio and surrounding states. OCCH has helped create thousands of affordable housing units, fostering economic stability and strengthening communities.

Ohio CDC Association (OCDCA)

OCDCA is a statewide nonprofit organization that supports community development corporations (CDCs) and other community-based groups in Ohio. OCDCA provides advocacy, training, technical assistance, and funding opportunities to its members.

NeighborWorks Collaborative of Ohio

The NeighborWorks Collaborative of Ohio is a statewide network of NeighborWorks America-affiliated nonprofit organizations working to strengthen communities and improve housing opportunities. They support local efforts to provide affordable housing, promote homeownership, and prevent foreclosures.

Ohio Chamber of Commerce

OHC is dedicated to advancing affordable housing development and policy in Ohio. It serves as a voice for stakeholders in the affordable housing industry. OHC helps shape housing policies that foster community development and expand access to affordable housing throughout the state.
